How to Conquer Secret Sin
2 CORINTHIANS 3:18
Strive - study - work for years to find the true source of power over besetting sins, and you will ultimately have come to this simple formula:
- Sin must be overpowered by God's glory.
- This overpowering power comes only through consistent prayer - beholding His face daily.
- The closer you get to Jesus, the more His character will be the ruling force in your life - overruling and overpowering the enemy.
"We are changed unto the same image - from glory to glory - even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
LESSON: We wish God would miraculously "pluck out" our besetting sins and set us free. Not so! We overcome step by step - becoming more like His image by daily BEHOLDING. Time and much prayer is needed for complete freedom!
