God Removes Cysts!

I would like to tell you about how my friend was healed. Some years ago, we lived in Scotland. There I met a French lady called Joanna. We used to meet often after dropping the kids off at school. One morning, Joanna looked rather upset. We got chatting and she told me her doctor had just let her know that she had a cyst on one of her ovaries. This was the second time that this had occurred, and she was very frightened. She was actually terrified of hospitals and the thought of having to go for a second operation was too much for her.

I told her that we believed in God and that she could be healed if I laid hands on her as the Bible says in MARK 16:18 "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover". I also told her many testimonies of people who had been healed. I myself was healed of a thyroid problem when I first believed in God. My thyroid gland had been working too much. The doctors had succeeded in regulating it once, but the illness recurred and I was back to square one taking my ten pills of Neo-Mercazole daily, trying slowly to fix it, hopefully for good the second time. When I first became a Christian, I had heard many stories of people being healed. I asked the Lord to heal me then and there and He did! I threw all my tablets away as my hormone levels went back to normal. I told Joanna that the doctors advised this gland could cause problems again if one day I had children, but I was still perfectly fine after having two children of my own. After hearing all these things, Joanne asked me to come back in the afternoon to lay hands on her and pray. When we met again, I put my hands on her and said a very simple prayer - I just prayed that her cyst would disappear in Jesus’ name.

The following day, she went back to her doctor for another check up before going into hospital, but the doctor said she could not feel anything anymore. So she told Joanna to still go to the specialist as planned and to have a scan done. At the scan, the doctor said: "Whatever was there has disappeared." What was incredible is that he used exactly the same words that I had used in the prayer. It goes to show that God listens to our prayers very carefully and He answers them to the letter! My friend was over the moon!
