Healed from Asthma

Greetings from sunny Sydney,

I would like to tell you about how the Lord healed me from asthma a couple of years ago.

Ever since I was a small child, I always had problems with my breathing. I would have to use two ventolin puffers: one for every day and the other in case I had an asthma attack. Things would get very difficult, as I could do nothing but lie down otherwise the asthma attack would get worse. It would always get worse when the weather changed. It was a burden to have this sickness, as certain things could trigger it easily. And so my family, others in the assembly, and I, prayed that I would get healed.

One time, when my dad went to Cornwall for the Annual Church Convention, there was a time of prayer where you could ask for prayer for a specific illness or problem. My dad went forward and one of the senior officers prayed with my dad that my asthma would disappear. When dad came back home to Australia, he asked me whether I had had an asthma attack lately. I thought back over the time he had been away and realized that I hadn’t had any asthma attacks. Dad then told me about the prayer in Cornwall and I was so glad that the Lord had healed me. Praise the Lord for everything, for He is our Great Physician!
