How I Could Preach to All My Friends

My testimony is about a really great answer to prayer, which happened over a year ago. The Lord made it possible for me to preach to almost all of my friends at one time.

It started in science class, where we were learning about evolution. At home I had been doing a lot of research about things that proved that the theory of evolution is false. During every science lesson, I made short comments that contradicted evolution. I prayed that my friends would realise that I believed God had created the world, and believed evolution to be wrong, but I felt unsure about how to start preaching to people. I continued to pray for these points for weeks. Towards the end of the term, a girl sitting at the same table as I, asked, (after I had another go at evolution), whether I was a Christian. I said, “Of course”. She just nodded and turned back to the teacher.

We had a break right after that lesson and I sat down with my friends to eat. The girl from my science class came over and asked me questions concerning Christianity.

The girl was asking me questions that most people wouldn’t ask straight out, when they find out that you are a Christian. One question was, “What does it mean to fear the Lord?“ When she asked that, I was amazed. I wasn’t expecting a question like that from her. It made me happy to be able to answer that question. Other friends were interested in the conversation and listened carefully as well. Some asked questions while others just listened.

Now everyone who was there knows that I’m a Christian. As well, two of my science teachers know, as I copied a theme sheet for them. The only thing now is to tell them the whole gospel and pray that they get saved like the Bible tells us to: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (MARK 16:15).
