Two Broken Arm Bones Healed

Hello everybody,

I would like to share the testimony of how my niece was healed of a broken arm – quite a serious double fracture - when she was 6 years old. She fell whilst playing on a playground and my sister (her mum) took her to the emergency unit at the hospital immediately. After the first x-ray, the doctor was very negative and said that it might not be possible to fix her arm again, as two bones were broken and it would be very difficult to fix.

My sister phoned me that same day. At the time I was living in the Netherlands and she lived in France. As she told me the story I could hear the distress in her voice. I knew a miracle from God was needed, so I offered to ask for prayer for her in our church and said that my husband and I could pray over a handkerchief that I would send her in the post.

ACTS 19:12 “So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out from them.

The same week, I sent her a letter with scriptures: JOHN 14:13-14 “…and whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

ROMANS 1:12 “That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

My niece wore the handkerchief around her arm, and my sister read the scriptures to her. This way, they got to know more about Jesus, and my niece even liked wearing the handkerchief. It was really special for them and a real support. The doctor estimated that the plaster should stay on for 6 weeks and had asked my sister to come back after two weeks for another x-ray and check-up. They wanted to do the check-up to make sure that the bones hadn't moved. This is quite a common complication that makes a complete healing difficult.

The doctor couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the first x-ray; he said that the arm was in great condition, the bones hadn't moved, which was very surprising, and he was amazed by the fast progress of the healing. My niece had to keep the plaster on for another two weeks, after which they took another x-ray and concluded that the arm was completely healed. They decided to remove the plaster, and by the look on the doctor's face you could see how impressed he was by the quick and uncomplicated healing of a fracture of this kind.

It was a great testimony for my family, also for the kids. They experienced the power of healing and prayer. My sister is very thankful to our church. She was aware that something special had happened when we prayed and ever since then, she has always asked me for prayer for her kids, friends or family when needed. Our prayers are not in vain. Praise the Lord for this miraculous healing and may many more follow.

In Jesus' Love, Frances
